What’s In My (Vintage) Makeup Bag

What's in my vintage makeup bag

Clockwise from top right:

Benefit Lemon Aid – this primes your eyelid and gives a nice pale base for dark eyeliner – perfect for a nice clear cat-eye flick!

Miracletouch Creamy Blush by Max Factor – I like creamy blushers, I find they stay on much better than powder blush and don’t dry my skin out.

bareMinerals SPF 15 Original Foundation by Bare Escentuals – gives a nice creamy finish, good staying power and a touch of radience – perfect :)

L’Oréal Paris Superliner – goes on easily and just as importantly STAYS ON

Diego dalla palma Semi-Permanent Technical Mascara – this is perfect for me because it means I don’t have to take my mascara off every night, and I’m very lazy…

Garnier Nutritionist Youth Radiance Tinted Eye Roll On – hides of those dark circles, and I always seem to have those

Never heard of diego dalla palma Semi-Permanent Technical Mascara before. Sounds like something could be big in the market…since there are many “lazy beauties” out there 😉

Its good, although I must admit I initially bought it because I read a review saying it also dyes your eyelashes at the same time. It doesn’t! But it is a good waterproof mascara which you don’t need to take off every night

yes, where do you buy it in the U.S.? I read the user reviews, and one said it didn’t lengthen or thicken? that doesn’t sound right! I love trying new mascara!

I buy it in the UK, no idea about US suppliers I’m afraid. It doesn’t particularly lengthen but its a good non-clumping non-sticky non-flaky waterproof mascara :)

I’ve been using that cream blush for ages – its a nice colour and stays on well. The only problem is that you have to rub your cheeks to rub it in, so you then have to wait for your cheeks to de-pink from rubbing before you can tell if you’ve put the right amount on 😉
