American actress Pam Grier, who famously said “Me, sexy? I’m just plain ol’ beans and rice” was sex symbol and style icon of the 70s. She made her name in the films of the 70s ‘blaxploitation’ movement and was credited as being the first female action hero when she starred in ‘Foxy Brown’.
