My vintage: 1960s shift in cherry blossom season

Vintage 1960s dress

I love it when the cherry blossom is out, it seems to be really late this year but it always marks the time when spring has truly arrived! Isn’t it glorious?  I’ve also been waiting for some warmer weather to get some of my new vintage shift dresses out. I love the white collar and cuffs on this 60s shift dress, what do you think?

Apologies for some of the photos being slightly out of focus, but after this inspiring photo by Norman Parkinson I figured I could get away with it on this one occasion 😉

Outfit from top to bottom:

  • Vintage Christian Dior sunglasses (from Ebay)
  • Vintage 1960s shift dress (from Etsy)
  • 60s style block heel shoes from Matalan

What do you think of this outfit? How would you style this 60s dress?

The photos were taken with my Canon EOS 60D camera.

Thank you! My only doubt about wearing this dress is that the fabric is REALLY stiff, which makes it a bit uncomfortable… :)
