Vintage look book: polka dot darling

Oh, I feel like a change from the monochrome sixties styles which we’re seeing everywhere at the moment, so how about this for a change? Black and white 50s-inspired polka dots with some bright spring flowers added just to remind us that the weather isn’t always cold and snowy!

Vintage look book: 1950s novelty prints

I fell in love with this cute bird of paradise bag when I spotted it today, and thought it would go great with a fifties-inspired outfit. After all novelty prints were a big trend in the 50s so why not have them on a handbag? What do you think of the finished outfit?

Joan Crawford 1930s

I’m starting to develop a real love of 1930s fashion, which perhaps took a bit longer than other decades, just because there hasn’t really been a 30s revival in the same way that we’ve seen with the 20, 50s and 60s (or if there was it passed me by). What do you think of my outfit for a 1930s Joan Crawford?

I think Elizabeth Taylor was at her most beautiful and magnificent in the 1960s, and I couldn’t resist dressing her in some gorgeous earrings!

Tim Burton's Dorothy

I spotted these fabulous ruby slippers and couldn’t resist doing a Dorothy-inspired outfit – it all just turned out a bit Tim Burton in the end… What do you think?
