This is my celebration outfit for winning the competition to design a 1920s flapper dress – I won thanks you all your votes so thank you SO much!!! I don’t think I’ve won a competition since I won a creative writing competition when I was 9 so I’m delighted!
[5 photos]I won a voucher to spend at ClothesBox and here is an outfit I bought with my winnings. The most exciting part of winning is that they’re going to put the dress I designed into production for their Spring/Summer collection. I’ll definitely buy one and give it away on the blog as well as getting one for me and getting all my friends too). So exciting!!!
Anyway, back to reality until that happens! This is my outfit for doing the school run and then getting on with the final preparations for our iPad app, which is awaiting approval in the app store (fingers crossed…)
My favourite thing about this outfit is the letter-style purse which sadly I don’t think I’ll be able to use. I was looking for it last night only to discover that my 6 year old son had put on his bedside table to ‘keep it safe because it’s so lovely mummy – it is for me isn’t it?‘ Hmmm…
I didn’t realise this jumper had a cute bunny on the back too – I love nice surprises when you buy online! 😉
My super-cool Airmail letter purse which I’m free to use while my son is at school…
From top to toe:
- Vintage Christian Dior sunglasses (but you know that by now – I think I need more that 1 pair of sunnies)
- Adorable Bunny Cardigan By Chuti 50s style
- Paper Plane ‘Air Mail’ Purse-Multi-One Size
- Cranberry Classic 60’s Inspired Skinny Jeans
- Vintage fur-lined suede boots (rolled down)
Congratulations! How exciting and I love the outfit! The purse is wonderful too. I’m really looking forward to seeing your dress made up xxx
Thanks Jacqueline – I can’t wait to see the dress, it’s so exciting! Will keep you posted on any updates 🙂
