If you have been following my blog for a while, you might recognize this as my Goodwood Revival dress. I didn’t get any good photos of it that day, so I thought I’d re-style it and take some more photos. The outfit I wore to Goodwood was a lot more authentic – pale tights, big sixties makeup and a beehive – but this is a more wearable everyday version.
It was nice to try some different ways of taking photos – it was raining today so I got chance to use my new Union Jack umbrella as well. I bought it during the London Olympics when I was feeling particularly patriotic and haven’t had reason to use it since!

From top to bottom:
- Union Jack umbrella by Totes
- Vintage Dior sunglasses
- Vintage 1960s houndstooth minidress
- Blue agate wrap bracelet by Steel Orchids
- Cream filigree bangle and black tights – both from Tesco
- Nude block heel shoes with bows from Matalan
I really like your Goodwood dress. If it was cool weather how would you cover your arms. I have a couple of wool 60s dresses without sleeves but struggle to get a cardigan or jacket to look right. I guess one of the wet look macs in the shops at the moment would look the part.

RevivalHuddersfield Thanks Helene. I’m not sure really, I have a modern but 60s-style cape coat, and I might try that. It’s not completely right but it’s warmer than not having anything..! I’ve got everything crossed for dry weather right now!
