This week I have a fantastic competition to share with you: the chance to win one of tw0 £50 vouchers to spend at Vivien of Holloway.
About Vivien of Holloway:
A life-long Fifties lifestyle and fashion enthusiast, Vivien began sewing vintage-style clothes for herself at a mere ten years old. At eighteen, she opened her first shop in the world famous but now sadly gone Kensington Market, selling her hand-made 50s reproductions to fellow followers of 50’s fashions.
Many satisfied customers later, we can fast forward… oh, a couple of years to 2000, when the Vivien of Holloway brand was born, and Vivien’s signature Fifties style soon took the world by storm.
Vivien’s focus has always been on producing beautiful dresses and separates with all the look and the charm of authentic vintage, but in a range of sizes to fit and flatter modern figures and ease of care to suit modern lifestyles.
With period perfect fabrics and cuts only slightly adapted from genuine vintage styles, in Vivien of Holloway you can be transformed into a cheesecake pin-up, a femme fatale, a saucy Mad Men-era office girl, or a WWII working girl – the choice is yours! All the clothes are proudly made in the UK and are loved by well-dressed women (and men!) across the globe; from rockabilly gals and swing dancers, to re-enactors and even celebrities!

£59.00. 1950’s Playsuit (BlackWhite Spots) I just love this cute outfit. Hot pants where all in fashion in the 1960’s when I was a young teenager. My mum used to make my sisters, hers and mine on her old singer sewing machine. We were all dressed the same in bright matching colors and design. This website has taken me right back to that memorable time….Thank you
I love this Angel / Devil tshirt 🙂 http://www.vivienofholloway.com/en/category/t-shirt/t-shirt/2340/

dress auburn garden
I love the runaround sue ( strawberry)
All of Vivien Holloway’s dresses are stunning but you can’t go wrong with a Halterneck circle dress. It’s has a classic and iconic 50’s look that never fails to draw comments from other people. It’s feminine and elegant. I’ve worn mine with heels to dress it up for parties or a night on the town and I wear them with flats to do a very glamorous school run. I’m currently lusting after the Rosa Black Floral HNCD
Jezebel Pencil Black/White polka dot
I love all my Vivien of Holloway outfits. But my favourite is 1950s Halterneck Circle navy cherry dress. I got many complements wearing it 🙂
For me, however much I Love all of their clothes my favourite has to be their high waisted jeans. If I never know what to wear, them and one of their halterneck tops is my fail safe outfit! It’s nice for once to find a pair of jeans that goes over my generous bum but fit by small waist! This shop has to be my best every clothing find!
