It’s been a bit too hot to be dressing up recently, but as we’ve had a bit of cloud cover today I’ve finally got the energy to try out some lovely new vintage clothes! I love this vintage 1960s dress, I feel like an extra in Mad Men when I wear it, especially with my latest eBay find: my gorgeous mustard-coloured Marc Jacobs shoes. Thanks to Revival Vintage who kindly loaned me this gorgeous dress, if you like it as much as I do you can buy it here.
What do you think?

Love the color combo. And, yes…VERY Mad Men (aka the best show ever). : )
LOL, thanks ๐ I’m nowhere near that glamourous, but I had fun pretending for an afternoon!
When it says dress length, is that the length from the back of the neck to the hem?
Hi Tracy
I’ve just checked that for you (as I still have it here) and the 40″ dress length measured on the front – from the top of the cowl neck to the hem. Hope that helps!
The dress is gorgeous and so is the bag! I love bags with a bamboo handle for summer ๐
me too, I bought it to take to Goodwood Revival – thought it matched the shoes really well! Love the dress, I’m in 2 minds whether to buy it…
Yes you should definitely buy this dress it looks amazing on you…but then I would say that! It does look lovely though Mary and you already have the accessories lol.
I find the dresses which are overlooked in our shop because they haven’t the best hanger appeal or obvious vintage shape look the most striking on a bod. I have to cajole people into trying them on, then they are thrilled when they look so great in them.
Not everyone has the eye to pick them out first time like you Mary, well done. A good choice.
