Jeepers creepers it’s COLD out there! About 5 minutes after I finished taking these photos it started hailing and then sleeting. Yeuch! Bring back summer, I want a tan and a chance to wear shorts again!
This beautiful vintage 1940s dress was kindly loaned to me by Helene from Revival Vintage. It pretty chilly once I’d peeled off my coat, but it’s such a stylish dress I almost didn’t mind (almost). I love the collar and double bodice, and the crepe skirt hangs really beautifully!

Dear Mary, it seems to me you’re missing a little detail to such look get perfect: What about a four laps pearl choker and some smoked (faux) silk stockings …? Cheers, Augustus. 🙂
