I have a real visual treat for you this week, a collection of the very finest in vintage lingerie. One of the things I adore about vintage underwear is that it incorporates such a wide range of styles. We’ve got everything here from Edwardian bloomers, to 1930s tap pants, 1950s bullet bras, not to mention the most beautiful nightwear straight from Classic Hollywood. *sigh*
Click on an image if you’d like to find out more about an item. It’s worth noting that most items featured are genuine vintage so if you want an item you’d be wise to snap it up before someone else does!
Also, if you’re talented enough you can make your own vintage lingerie. Whether it’s for a 1940s negligee, a 1950s petticoat or a beautiful bullet bra, if you’ve got the sewing expertise you can rustle up one of these beauties whenever you need one! You can find more vintage sewing patterns here.
Which of these items vintage lingerie is your favourite? If you’re interested in vintage lingerie you might like to take a look at my article about how to that 1950s hourglass silhouette.
Beautiful Collection!!!

Wonderful collection! I’m happy so many of our pieces made the cut, they are in good company. I’m particuarly fond of the 1930s tap pants. Thank you!
The tap pants are very cute aren’t they! Happy to include your lingerie – you have some gorgeous pieces!

I have lots of favourites here, so I can’t decide which is better than the other, but then I am an incurable vintage anorak and aficionado so naturally I love all and every image! Lovely post – most uplifting during this lockdown!
