Whatever role she played Grace Kelly was always the epitome of cool style and sophistication. Whoever she was in a movie, she was always impeccably turned out and beautiful in a very grown-up stylish way. Never saucy or scandalously dressed she was a sex symbol who drew everybody’s gaze without having to make a show of herself, one reason why her style has remained to timeless. Here are some of my favourite Grace Kelly looks with some ideas on how to steal some of her style:
Above: Grace Kelly with Donald Sinden, Clark Gable, Denis O’Dea, Ava Gardner & Eric Pohlmann on the set of Mogambo (1953). Get a taste of her impeccable safari style by teaming a pair of smart khaki trousers with a white blouse, a pastel neck scarf and wide leather belt.

Nobody did elegant evening wear quite as well as Grace Kelly. Keep hemlines below or on the knee, keep it classy and choose elegant shapes cut in sumptuous satins paired with some pretty heels and pearls.
High Society was the first movie I saw Grace Kelly in as a child, and I remember being absolutely wowed by her. She looked amazing throughout this movie, but I love this outfit which is anyone could wear whilst staying oh-so sophisticated! Team it with a big picture hat and some dark glasses for venturing out into the glorious sunshine!
