So you think Cara Delevingne invented the bold brow? Think again! As with most fashion trends, it’s all been done before. And as with most things Audrey Hepburn did it better. Here are five Hollywood stars from the 1940s and 50s who rocked the statement brow trend the first time around!
Of course, the 1940s and 50s weren’t the first time we’ve seen strong eyebrows. In the 1920s and 30s eyebrow fashions were strong but in a very different way and made you look either like a sad clown (see Clara Bow below), or constantly surprised (see on Marlene Dietrich at the bottom of the page). Otherwise known as dinner lady eyebrows. I can’t wait for that fashion to come back around!

Hi, I saw this pic on my Roku Most Popular Retro Stars Screensaver ( link https://channelstore.roku.com/details/802d88b42fb989fe56136aac8aab5530/ most-popular-retro-stars) and I have no clue who she is. If you can give me her name reply and give you the phone number to the Marilyn Monroe Spa in Honalulu Halwii. I will not hack you.
I have never seen her before and I am 75 years old.
