When 21-year-old Mia Farrow married Frank Sinatra (who was 50 at the time) in 1966 she wore an white skirt suit with a bow at the waist. The boxy cropped jacket had sleeves which finished at the elbow and crystal buttons. Teamed with her famous pixie cut hair she was a truly modern 60s bride. The ceremony took just 15 minutes when they married at the Sands Hotel in Vegas.
This was Mia’s first marriage and Frank’s 3rd (he had previously married Ava Gardner who wore another iconic wedding dress). Their marriage lasted 2 years.
I really struggled to find out any concrete information about this outfit, I’m not even sure whether it was a dress or a skirt underneath that jacket. I also couldn’t discover who the designer was. If you know any more information please let me know, thanks!
